Cartoon Network UK Lego The Incredibles Video Game Competition
Cartoon Network UK is running a competition to promote the release of the brand new Lego The Incredibles video game, one lucky winner shall receive a Nintendo Switch (with neon-coloured controllers) and a copy of the brand new game (Nintendo Switch version), five runner-ups shall also receive a copy of the game.
The game is based on the popular Disney/Pixar 3D CGI movie franchise and follows the superhero adventures of the Parr family as if the movies have taken place in a world made of the popular construction toy – Lego. Play as Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Violet and Jack-Jack, each with their unique powers and abilities, together as a family, they’re an unstoppable force against super-villains. The video game features action packed levels and an epic hub-world. The game also available for XBOX One, PlayStation 4 features playable stories based on the original 2004 movie and the 2018 sequel – The Incredibles 2, which will be released in cinemas across the UK this Friday (13th July). The game is made by UK-based game development studio TT Games (owned by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, a sister company of Cartoon Network).
The Lego Ninjago Movie Now In Cinemas In The United States
This Friday (22/09/2017) was the U.S. premiere of The Lego Ninjago Movie which is based on Cartoon Network’s Lego Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitzu 3D CGI animated series and the Lego toy range of the same name. Ninjago is a city under constant threat by Lord Garmadon (voiced by Justin Theroux), who happens to be the father of a young ninja named Lloyd (played by Dave Franco) and the husband of Koko, Lloyd’s mom (voiced by Olivia Munn).
Lloyd is under emotional stress because the citizens of Ninjago hate him due to his connection to his evil father, but Lloyd is a force for good and is a secretly a ninja with his friends Kai (Michael Peña), Jay (Kumail Nanjiani), Nya (Abbi Jacobson), Cole (Fred Armisen) and Zane (Zach Woods). Lloyd and his ninja friends eventually confronts his father in an epic showdown. Famous martial artist and actor, Jackie Chan stars as Master Wu in the movie, the mentor and master of the six ninja.
The Lego Ninjago Movie is the third movie in “The Lego Movie” franchise, following The Lego Batman Movie which was released in cinemas in various countries between January and March this year. The movie is also produced by the same team and consists of Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Chris Miller and is made by Warner Animation Group with Australian animation studio – Animal Logic.
A video game based on the movie made by TT Games has been released alongside the U.S. theatrical release and is now available to buy and download for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Lego construction toy sets based on the movie are now available in toy stores. In the UK, The Lego Ninjago Movie will be released in cinemas on Friday 13th October.

Teen Titans Go! And The Powerpuff Girls Lego Dimensions Toys Now Available In Stores
Lego Dimensions, the interactive LEGO “toys-to-life” video game hybrid featuring many popular media franchises now has The Powerpuff Girls and Teen Titans Go! toys which can now be used in-game. The new toys form part of Lego Dimensions’ ninth wave of interactive toys since the game’s release. The ninth wave packs were released on Tuesday 12th September and are now available to buy at video game retailers or online.
Players that purchase either Teen Titans Go! expansion pack (Team Pack or the smaller Fun Pack) can access an exclusive, original episode where the Teen Titans gang find themselves in the LEGO Dimensions multiverse. The Teen Titans Go! Team Pack, includes Lego mini-figures of two members of the Teen Titans – Raven and Beast Boy. The Team Pack also features the 3-in-1 T-Car which can be transformed into the Forklift as well as the T-Plane. Players can transform the Spellbook of Azarath into Raven Wings and the Giant Hand for adventures deep underground or even above the beyond the universe.
The smaller Teen Titans Go! Fun pack will feature a Lego minifigure of Starfire. In the game, players are able to enable Starfire’s special abilities to battle enemies and solve puzzles. Players can also build the 3-in-1 Titan Robot and then rebuild it into the T-Rocket or Robot Retriever. Any Teen Titans Go! minifigure can be used to access the Teen Titans’ hometown – Jump City and explore areas including Titans Tower and Wacka Doodles Amusement Park, also players can go head-to-head in the battle arena.
The Powerpuff Girls Team Pack includes Lego minifigures of Blossom and Bubbles. Also in the pack, is Octi which can be rebuilt into the Super Skunk or Sonic Squid, and the PPG Smartphone can be rebuilt into the PPG Hotline and Powerpuff Mag-Net.
The smaller Powerpuff Girls Fun Pack includes a Buttercup Lego minifigure. Players can use this cherished champion of justice to fight crime and come just in time with supercool superpowers. The 3-in-1 Mega Blast Bot can be rebuild into the Ka-Pow Cannon and Slammin’ Guitar to rock extra-awesome combat abilities. Players with a Powerpuff Girls pack will be able to access the Powerpuff Girls’ hometown – Townsville as a play environment, which includes Pokey Oaks elementary, Rainbow Land and Professor Utonium’s lab. Players can go head-to-head in the Battle Arena for endless fun.
Also in ninth wave, there’s a Fan Pack for horror-comedy character – Beetlejuice, the pack also includes Saturn’s Sandworm, which can be reconstructed into the Haunted Vacuum and Spooky Spider. Although it’s no longer airing, Beetlejuice also had an animated series which aired on Cartoon Network UK and Cartoon Network USA in the late 1990’s.
Players are able to mix-up Lego Dimensions characters for awesome team-ups and crossovers, which means you can use the characters from existing Adventure Time packs can interact with The Powerpuff Girls or/and Teen Titans Go! packs.
