Warner Bros. Animation At Wondercon 2018
During the Wondercon Comic-Con convention in Anaheim, California this weekend (Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th March), there were Warner Bros. Animation show panel events for Unikitty!, Teen Titans Go! and for the upcoming animated series coming soon to Cartoon Network – DC Super Hero Girls.
The first panel was for Unikitty!. Show producers, Ed Skudder and Lynn Wang; art director Andrea Fernandez; animation director Anna Hollingsworth and voice actors Roger Craig Smith (Hawkodile) and Eric Bauza (Master Frown) were all present at the panel. A new episode sneak peek was shown at the panel and there was an opportunity for fans of the show to ask questions. There was an opportunity for fans to get an autograph too.

Next up was the panel for one of Cartoon Network USA’s most popular shows – Teen Titans Go!, the show’s producers Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and the voice of Beast Boy – Greg Cipes were at the panel, in front of a packed audience. Also yesterday, Warner Bros. Pictures released the shortened television advert version of the Teen Titans Go! To The Movies trailer, the advert includes some never-before-seen footage featuring the superhero – Green Lantern voiced by rapper – Lil Yachty.

Finally, there was the panel for the new series – DC Super Hero Girls. Attending the panel were: Anais Fairweather (voice of Super Girl), Yancey Labat (DC Super Hero Girls graphic novels illustrator), Monica Kubina (DC Super Hero Girls graphic novels colorist) and Shea Fontana (DC Super Hero Girls writer). A brand new animated series based on the DC franchise is being developed by Lauren Faust (The Powerpuff Girls (original series), Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) and it will premiere on Cartoon Network USA this year, a special episode based on the franchise – DC Super Hero Girls: Super Hero High has already aired on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and on Boomerang in the UK, also there’s an animated short web series which is now in its fourth season, all web episodes can be viewed for free on the DC Super Hero Girls YouTube channel.
