Cartoon Network Latin America’s ¡Golpea duro Hara! To Premiere On YouTube Today 8th December
The studio behind Cartoon Network Latin America’s new animated miniseries – ¡Golpea duro Hara! (in English – Hit Hard, Hara!) – Marmota Studio will be premiering their new show on their YouTube channel today at 7pm Chile/Argentina, 4pm Mexico (Mexico City) and 10pm GMT/London. ¡Golpea duro Hara! is the first animated Cartoon Network production to be produced by 100% Chilean animation talent. The new show is created by Matías Latorre and Javiera Siri.
The new animated series will have six chapters and follows the adventures of two friends – Hara and Tesu, after the death of Hara’s grandmother, both go a journey through the desert to defeat King Akiles. Hara is the show’s main character and in the show, she’s the only woman in the world. The 15-year-old is passionate, adventurous, impatient and half clumsy. Hara also loves to fight, but her uncontrollable anger attacks prevent her from performing the secret technique that will make her victorious: hard hits and blows, hence the name of the show. The show also draws inspiration from the popular action anime series – Dragon Ball Z and in the animation community, it is sometimes compared to OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.
¡Golpea duro Hara! premiered during the Fan Chile 2018 Children’s Audiovisual Festival at the Hub Providencia de Manuel Montt in Santiago, Chile on 8th September, the screening was attended by Lucas Arechaga, Senior Programming Content Manager for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast Latin America; María Graciela Severino (executive producer of the series); Bernardita Pastén (art director and co-founder of Marmota Studio); Matías Latorre, director of Marmota Studio and show co-creator and Javiera Siri (scriptwriter and show co-creator).
