Minecraft Steven Universe Mashup Pack Released Today 26th February
Cartoon Network and Mojang – the creators of the highly popular creative and exploration sandbox game – Minecraft have collaborated again once more to produce a special mashup pack based on Cartoon Network’s cult hit – Steven Universe. For the first time, Steven Universe and Minecraft fans are able to explore “Steven’s universe”, visit Steven’s house, go to downtown Beach City or even visit the Kindergarten or even go on an intrepid adventure to Homeworld, with Minecraft, the only limit is your imagination.
The Steven Universe pack features 48 character skins featuring all the main and secondary characters from the show, including the Crystal Gems (Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Peridot, Lapis Lazuli, Connie and Steven himself), also the townspeople of Beach City, various gem fusions and all four diamonds.
From today (26th February), the Minecraft Steven Universe Mashup Pack is now available to buy on the Minecraft Marketplace and can be downloaded for Minecraft on iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Samsung Gear VR, Fire OS, Windows 10, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Cartoon Network previously collaborated with Mojang for a special Minecraft themed episode of Adventure Time called “Diamonds and Lemons” as well as the Adventure Time mashup pack which is also available on the Minecraft Marketplace.

Turner’s Boomerang Launches The Happos Family Playtime App
On Thursday 21st February, Turner’s classic and contemporary animation channel – Boomerang has launched an mobile app based on Boomerang’s very own original series – The Happos Family. With The Happos Family Playtime app, kids will be able to go on an adventure with the Happos Family with interactive games and activities. The free app is now available to download from the iTunes App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.
The Happos Family Playtime app gives children aged between four and six years old the chance to have fun and to explore, the app can also help to develop their problem solving skills and the app has been specially developed with kids in mind. Kids can pick from several locations and adventures, ranging from a dance party, to a journey into space or on a pirate ship. In every area there’s a range of games and activities to choose from including: creating music on a DJ set, building a rocket or going on a treasure hunt.
The app also features a cinema feature where kids can relax by watching episodes of The Happos Family as well as songs and other content. The Happos Family is about a family of blue hippos that live in a safari park. Although they behave like ordinary hippos during the day, but when the gates close, their true and unique personalities begin to shine and they get into all sorts of crazy and funny adventures.
The Happos Family airs on Boomerang across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region and also on Boomerang Latin America and Brazil. The show has reached a total of 30 million global views on YouTube.

Turner is expanding its Boomerang franchise – The Happos Family – with the launch of its first dedicated app: The Happos Family Playtime. Kids will now be able to adventure with their favourite Happos through interactive games and activities, all the while exploring the different locations in which the game is set. The Happos Family Playtime app launched internationally on the 21st of February. It is free to download from the App Store and Google Play.
The Happos Family Playtime app offers children aged 4-6 the chance to have fun and play through exploration and simple problem solving. Kids can pick from several different themed locations and adventures, from a dance party, to a journey into space or on a pirate ship. In each area there are a range of exciting games and activities to choose from – from creating music on a DJ set, to building a rocket or searching for treasure – with the hilarious Happos on hand to lead the way!
The app has been designed and tested with kids in mind, with intuitive activities allowing them to dive straight in and play. In addition, it includes a cinema feature where kids can kick back and relax by watching episodes of The Happos Family, as well as songs and other special content.

Boing Spain Launches Mobile App Includes Channel Live Stream And On-Demand Content
Turner’s and Mediaset España’s free-to-air children’s channel – Boing have launched their very own mobile app. On the app, users can access a livestream of the Boing television channel, which is available anytime and anywhere for free (as long as there’s a good mobile signal or WiFi). There’s also a library of video on-demand content including shows from Cartoon Network Studios, Warner Bros. Animation and other acquired programming such as Doraemon.
The app offers a safe environment for kids and no registration is needed. Cartoon Network shows on the app include The Amazing World of Gumball, Craig of the Creek, We Bare Bears, Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Apple and Onion, Regular Show and Teen Titans Go!. There’s also a collection of free games to enjoy too. For most on-demand content, there’s also an English audio option.
Boing Italy also launched a similar app in August, the app had a successful launch with one million downloads within a few weeks.
