Boomerang UK Confirmed To Rebrand On Monday 16th February And February Highlights: A Brand New Look With New Shows And Episodes
Today (15/01/2015) it was announced that Boomerang UK will rebrand on 16th February. Monday 16th February is an ideal date as it’s the start of the half term holidays and kids (and adults :)) will have something new to look at, Cartoon Network did a similar arrangement on Monday 21st July 2014, when Check It 3.0 was fully implemented. Boomerang CEE and Boomerang Italy have been confirmed to rebrand on 2nd February and Boomerang Africa also known as “Boomerang HQ” rebranded yesterday (14/01/2015).

New Season: Dreamworks Dragons: Defenders of Berk

In Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Scarecrow, the gang is visiting a quiet farm town where everyone is preparing for the annual Halloween harvest celebration. But things are not as they seem, since the town’s creepy cornfield is plagued by a scarecrow brought to life by a witch’s curse, and it’s up to Scooby-Doo to solve this mystery. This and many more adventures with the ghost-busting gang – in Boomerang’s weekend marathon!

On 16th February 2015, Boomerang introduces a refreshed on-air environment. With a new look and feel that conveys its quality and contemporary position, and drawing upon the vast resources of the world’s largest animation library, Boomerang is being re-launched as a global all-animation, youth-targeted network, repositioned with a line-up of timeless and contemporary cartoons programmed for family co-viewing.

Brand new CGI animated series, Inspector Gadget, follows everyone’s favourite clueless detective; who doesn’t really know how to use the various gadgets built into his body. He usually overcomes perilous situations by sheer luck, or with help from his faithful niece Penny and intelligent dog Brain.
The Tom and Jerry Show

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of The Tom and Jerry Show, Boomerang is airing brand new episodes with everyone’s favourite cat and mouse duo. Join Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse as they plot against each other. The brand new episodes take place in exciting new worlds, from a witch’s cabin to a detective agency and even a mad scientists lab. With a setup as elementary as a hungry and determined cat chasing a resourceful and mischievous mouse, the possibilities are endless.
Fireman Sam Marathon

Every town has a hero, and in the friendly town of Pontypandy that hero is a very special fire fighter named Sam. Whatever the problem, be it a lost kite or cat, stranded sledgers or kitchen fires, Sam and his trusted team are always on hand to save the day. This half term week, Cartoonito will be running Fireman Sam daily marathons featuring episodes from Seasons 6-9 and the movie Fireman Sam: Great Fire of PontyPandy.
