TBS’s And Adult Swim’s Final Space Renewed For A Second Season
TBS’s latest animated hit – Final Space has been renewed for a second season, the serialised intergalactic space adventure-comedy series has reached more than twenty million viewers on TBS’s linear and digital platforms as well as video-on-demand services in the United States. The animated series follows an astronaut named Gary and his friend – Mooncake, an adorable alien with the powerful ability to destroy planets. On their journey, they make new friends and expand their team, together they embark on a quest to unlock the mystery of “Final Space”, the place where the universe ends.
Final Space is created by filmmaker/actor/comedian Olan Rogers and is co-written and executive produced by David Sacks, who previously served as an executive producer on Nickelodeon’s Pig Goat Banana Cricket. The show is now getting international distribution as it will premiere on Turner’s TNT Comedy channel in Germany on 15th May.
The show is produced by Conan O’Brien’s Conaco and New Form in association with Turner’s in-house studio – Studio T, the show also airs on Cartoon Network USA’s adult-focused nighttime block – Adult Swim. An AR (augmented reality) app has been released based on the series and a VR (Virtual Reality) pilot episode is currently in development. Final Space merchandise are now available to buy on TBS’s website (http://shop.tbs.com) and the Facebook Live game – “Cards with Gary” offered an additional interactive experience for fans.
Ben 10 Challenge New Show Premieres On Cartoon Network UK This Friday 13th October
This Friday (13th October) at 4pm, Cartoon Network UK will be premiering a brand new live-action game show based on Cartoon Network’s most popular action animation show – Ben 10. In each episode of the game show, contestants will face a series of challenges that will test their physical and mental abilities, including speed, strength and strategic skills similar to a scenario in an episode of the series.
Each team, consisting of two children and one adult, emulating the main trio of the TV show (Ben, Gwen and Grandpa Max) will put their skills to the test, this includes anything from collecting aliens, Ben 10 trivia, battling against of Ben Tennyson’s infamous villains from the series, a task that involves transforming into XLR8 and racing across boiling hot lava or even flying around like Stinkfly. Contestants will also take the role of other aliens from the Omnitrix, such as Heatblast and Diamondhead. The team with the highest score will face a final “high-octane” challenge. Each action-packed fun-filled episode makes use of modern technology such as augmented reality and special effects and also obstacle courses, mechanical props, ropes and harnesses, Zorb balls, themed sets, ball pits, one giant dome and of course, one amazing neon-green stage.
Ben 10 Challenge airs every Friday afternoon at 4pm, only on Cartoon Network in the UK and Ireland.

Cartoon Network UK has also released a “Ben 10 Challenge” mobile app now available for iOS, Android and Amazon Fire tablets, the new app makes use of digital camera and augmented reality technology, so viewers at home can also experience what its like to be an alien transforming hero!.

It’s officially “Hero Time” as Cartoon Network brings to you Ben 10 Challenge – a brand-new and exhilarating live-action gameshow giving British kids a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become their favourite boy hero, Ben 10! Ben 10 Challenge launches on Friday 13th October at 4pm on Cartoon Network and rolls out every Friday onwards.
Hosted by Nigel Clarke, the live-action gameshow features a range of physical and mental challenges – testing your speed, strength and other Ben 10 villain-conquering skills. From collecting aliens and testing your knowledge of the series, to transforming into XLR8 and racing across hot lava, this show is filled with fast-paced action and excitement from start to finish.

Cartoon Network UK Ben 10 Hero Truck Tour Starts 27th July
Throughout the school summer holidays, Cartoon Network UK will be running a Ben 10 tour around the UK called the “Ben 10 Hero Truck Tour”, a specially custom-made trailer branded like The Rustbucket RV motorhome from the animated TV show will be visiting several locations of Toys “R” Us, Tesco and Smyths Toy Superstores. The tour will kick off this Thursday (27/07/2017) at the Tesco Extra branch in Havant, Hampshire and will be visiting an additional 16 locations and will end at the Smyths Toys Superstores branch in Ashford, Kent on Sunday 20th August.
The purpose of the Rustbucket tour is to promote the brand new Ben 10 toy range now available at toy retailers across the UK. The toy range is produced by Playmates Toys and distributed in the UK by Flair (a part of the Giochi Preziosi toy group). Flair has already released a range of collectable “power-up” and “deluxe” figures, “Transform-N-Battle” roleplay items and basic and deluxe versions of the Omnitrix as well as the Rust Bucket playset. The Hero Truck tour will also include an augmented reality experience, where shoppers will be able to transform themselves into their favourite Ben 10 alien. After the UK tour, the Rustbucket will tour around Europe in countries such as Poland, Spain and Italy.
In addition to the tour, branches of The Entertainer, Smyths and Toys “R” Us have put out displays with a Rustbucket design to display the new toy range, kids are able to sit inside the Rustbucket shaped display and pretend that they’re on an adventure that’s out of this world.
Regarding the Ben 10 Hero Truck Tour and the new toy range, Graham Saltmarsh, director of licensing for Cartoon Network Enterprises UK and Northern Europe said:
“We know from our retail partners that immersive fan experiences are in high demand, especially during the summer holidays as parents look for ways to keep their kids entertained.
