In “Bad Jubies”, Finn, Jake, Lumpy Space Princess and BMO shelter away from a storm with a bad attitude that likes putting people down. Season seven also has memorable episodes such as “Crossover”, where Finn and Jake crossover into the Farmworld dimension and “Bonnie and Neddy”, where Finn and Jake discover one of Ooo’s biggest secrets and the birthplace of Princess Bubblegum (and her little-known brother Neddy) – the Mother Gum, in the episode “Varmints”, Princess Bubblegum is exiled and attempts to create a new kingdom out of vegetables.

Adventure Time Episode Bad Jubies Wins Annie Award
Last night (04/02/2017), was the 44th Annie Awards and Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time won an award in the “Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production For Children” category. The stopmotion episode – Bad Jubies was nominated, the episode was animated by Bix Pix Entertainment for Cartoon Network Studios and Federator Studios. The episode was written, storyboarded and directed by Kirsten Lepore. Adventure Time’s Bad Jubies was also nominated in the “Outstanding Achievement, Directing in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production” and “Outstanding Achievement, Production Design in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production” categories, but lost out to Google Spotlight Stories/Evil Eye Pictures’ Pearl in both categories.
In Bad Jubies, Finn, Jake, Lumpy Space Princess and BMO dig underground to shelter themselves from a big storm with a bad attitude. The use of stopmotion animation in the episode is a change compared to the typical 2D hand-drawn Adventure Time episode.
The Annie Awards is an annual awards ceremony organised by ASIFA-Hollywood (French acronym for Association Internationale du Film d’Animation, in English, International Animated Film Association) to honor production teams and individuals who’ve made significant contributions to the art of animation during the past year. Yesterday’s awards ceremony was held at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles, California.
