Cartoon Network France Signs FranceTV Publicité Ad Agency Deal
Turner France has signed a deal with FranceTV Publicité for ad sales representation for three of its children’s channels: Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Boing. The state-owned national broadcaster of France will start their ad agency agreement with Turner on 1st January 2017, the deal will last for four years. The new deal will make FranceTV Publicité the second largest player in children’s advertising in France.
The three channels target three different audiences and therefore different advertisers, with Cartoon Network as its flagship channel mostly aiming at male children, Boomerang as its classic animation channel also dependent on modern acquisitions from Warner Bros. Animation and from other independent studios and Boing as Cartoon Network’s variety overspill channel.
