Cartoon Network Studios’ We Bare Bears and Cartoon Network Latin America’s Jorel’s Brother (made by Copa Studio in Rio de Janerio, Brazil) have been named as finalists for this year’s Prix Jeunesse International Festival and Competition. The biennially-held festival and competition recognises the very best in children’s television from all over the world, especially programming that enables children to see, hear and express themselves and their culture. The festival will take place in Munich, Germany between 25th and 30th May 2018.
We Bare Bears has been nominated in the “Best Fictional Show for 11-to-15 year olds” category, while Jorel’s Brother (original Brazilian Portuguese title: Irmão do Jorel, Latin American Spanish title: Hermano de Jorel) has been nominated in the “Best Fictional Show for 7-to-10 year olds” category.
Congratulations to We Bare Bears creator Daniel Chong and his team at Cartoon Network Studios and also to Juliano Enrico and the team at Copa Studio.
