San Diego Comic Con Ben 10 Mighty Magiswords Sneak Peeks

As promised by Cartoon Network USA, they’ve showcased two sneak peeks at San Diego Comic-Con International 2016 convention for two upcoming shows, both the Ben 10 reboot and for Mighty Magiswords. Both clips were previewed at a special screening and cartoon character costume competition evening event at the convention on Thursday 21st July. Ben 10 will make its international debut in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) this year and the Americas (USA, Latin America, Canada) next year. Mighty Magiswords will debut on Cartoon Network USA later this year, making a successful conversion from a micro-formatted show on the Cartoon Network Anything app to a full-length animated show on television.

Sneak Peek of the Ben 10 reboot, in this clip Ben uses his Omnitrix to transform into Diamondhead and uses his crystalisation powers to save people from falling off dangerous rides at the amusement park.

In the Mighty Magiswords sneak peek clip, protagonists Vambre and Prohyas are on a quest to find the Masked Magisword. The Keeper of the Mask sets them a challenge before they can claim their prize: a mask with the facial expression of “mindless bliss” must be produced or the sword stays in the temple.

Costume Ball Competition

As mentioned alongside the exclusive screenings on Thursday evening at San Diego Comic-Con, there was a competition for the best Cartoon Network cartoon character costume, some of entrants were amazing especially on how much effort they’ve put into their costumes. The costume contest was judged by a panel of Cartoon Network’s top animation talents including Kyle A. Carozza (Mighty Magiswords), Spencer Rothbell (Head of Story for Clarence and voice of Clarence) and Rebecca Sugar (Creator of Steven Universe). The winners were given Cartoon Network goodie bags.
