Cartoon Network USA’s viewing ratings have continued to grow, meanwhile securing its place as the 2nd most popular television channel for children aged between 6 and 11 and the number one channel for all male children.

Cartoon Network was also the number one ad-supported cable network during an all day period for kids aged 6 to 11. Cartoon Network also had its highest-rated summer in the last three years among kids aged 2-11 and 6-11. The channel was also the #1 network on video on-demand in June and July with more than 80 million total views during those months, and in the two months following its 9th July re-launch, the Cartoon Network app had an increase of +155% growth in traffic when compared to the prior four weeks before re-launch.

Cartoon Network Studios’ newest original series We Bare Bears was ranked as television’s #1 animated series that has launched in 2015 so far among kids aged 2-11, kids 6-11, kids 9-14, and boys 9-14, while also ranking as television’s #1 series launch overall among boys aged 2-11 and 6-11. We Bare Bears joins a full selection of animated entertainment including Teen Titans Go!, which ranked as the #1 animated series for kids aged 6-11 among all premiere plays this summer.

Cartoon Network Games launched five mobile games this summer, all of which ranked on the iTunes Top 25 overall app charts on iPad during their launch weeks. Among the new titles was Free Fur All – We Bare Bears, the strongest Cartoon Network ad-supported mobile game launch to-date based on first week total active unique users.

Adult Swim USA Viewing Ratings Performance

Adult Swim continued ranking as basic cable’s number one network for adults and men 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49, with a +98% lead over the nearest late night competitor for adults 18-34. This success spans across platforms, with digital video plays increasing by +66% over last summer and 12.2 million VOD views in June and July.

The second season premiere of Rick and Morty (Sunday 26/07/2015, 11:30pm), ranked as the most viewed episode for the network in 2015 among all key adults and men aged 18-24. The season premiere was also the number one show of the day for adults 18-24 and for all male key demographics. On average, season two premieres consistently rank #1 in their timeslot and perform between +32% and +50% higher than season one premiere averages among all key demographics.

Original series Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever (Sundays, 12am), Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell (Sundays, 12:15am) and Childrens Hospital (Fridays, 12am) regularly ranked as basic cable’s #1 programmes in their timeslots among all adults and men key demographics.
